Humanitarian

In times of disaster, HOPE arranged for the packing of emergency supply boxes which were distributed to families. They contained food that was ready to eat (because victims of flash floods has lost their homes, stoves, utensils), and basic sanitary supplies such as soap, towels and clean water.

Because water was unfit for human use, HOPE arranged for wells to be bored providing clean water for locals to use.

Responding to disaster is one aspect, but planning ahead has been of paramount importance. HOPE arranged for the manufacture and delivery of blanket sets to families who had no provisions for winter. It's difficult to say how many people were saved from illnesses related to a bitterly cold winter.

These are just some of the examples of what we have achieved, but much more still needs to be done.
